Community Photo Submission Terms

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to submit a photo.
Every identifiable person shown in the submitted photo must also be at least 18 years old.
2. Rights and permissions
By submitting a photo, you confirm that you are the photographer and copyright holder of the submitted photo, or that you have the necessary authorization from the copyright holder to submit the photo and grant the rights described in these terms.
You confirm that the photo does not infringe any copyright, personality right, privacy right, trademark or other third-party right.
You also confirm that every identifiable person shown in the photo has agreed to the submission, public community voting and the publication described in these terms.
Black Carrot GmbH may request evidence of copyright ownership, permissions or model releases before accepting a photo for public voting.
The copyright remains with the copyright holder. These terms only grant Black Carrot GmbH the specific usage rights described below.
3. Use for submission and community voting
By submitting your photo, you grant Black Carrot GmbH a non-exclusive, worldwide right to use the submitted photo for the cuffed calendar 2027 community submission and voting.
This includes the right to reproduce, display and publish the photo for:
- reviewing and managing your submission
- presenting the photo as part of the public community voting
- presenting and promoting the community voting on cuffed.store
- promoting the community voting through cuffed social media channels and email newsletters
Black Carrot GmbH may resize, crop, compress or otherwise technically adapt the photo where necessary for presentation.
The photo will not be materially altered or used for unrelated purposes under these submission terms.
Copyright remains with the copyright holder.
4. Final calendar
Submitting a photo does not automatically grant Black Carrot GmbH the right to print or sell the photo as part of the cuffed calendar 2027.
If your photo is selected as one of the final community images, we will contact you separately.
Before the photo is included in the printed calendar, an additional Photo License and, where applicable, Model Release must be completed covering the production, sale, distribution and promotion of the cuffed calendar 2027.
5. People shown in the photo
Every identifiable person shown in the photo must have consented to the intended publication.
Where the content of the photo may reveal information relating to a person's sex life or sexual orientation, the required consent must also cover the processing and publication of this information.
Black Carrot GmbH may request a separate Model Release from every identifiable person before publishing the photo.
6. Photo credit
You may provide a name, artist name or social media handle that you would like us to use as a photo credit.
You may also choose not to be publicly credited.
7. Selection
Submission does not guarantee that a photo will be accepted for public voting or included in the final calendar.
Black Carrot GmbH reserves the right to reject or remove submissions that do not meet the technical, legal or content requirements of the campaign.
Community voting determines which submitted photos are selected for the community side of the cuffed calendar 2027.
8. Withdrawal
You may withdraw your submission before the final selection by contacting hello@cuffed.store.
We will stop future publication of the submission through channels controlled by Black Carrot GmbH as soon as reasonably possible.
Content that has already been distributed, shared by third parties or included in previously sent communications may not always be technically retrievable.
9. Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided with your submission is accurate and that you have the rights and permissions required under these terms.
If we have reasonable doubts regarding copyright ownership, consent, age or other third-party rights, we may reject or remove the submission.
